# Resolve Bank Account Name

> Verify recipient account details against the national banking switch before initiating a payout.

Performs real-time account name enquiry against the destination banking switch to confirm the account holder's legal name before executing transfers.

### Scopes required

`payouts:read` or `*`

### Headers

  Bearer API secret key formatted as `Bearer sk_live_...` or `Bearer sk_test_...`.

  The destination bank's 3-digit code (e.g. `058` for GTBank).

<ParamField body="accountNumber" type="string" required>
  The 10-digit NUBAN account number.
</ParamField>
